Discover our Hospital

The center was inaugurated in May 1997. It is approved by the Ministry of Health as a Level IV Hospital, and has successively renewed this approval every 4 years, as required by the General Health Law. Since 2009, it has been accredited as an Advanced Quality Hospital Center by the Sanitary Quality Agency of the Regional Government of Andalusia. It has renewed this accreditation in successive subsequent evaluations.

Our emergency service has the technical and human capacity to attend to any life-threatening emergency, and the surgical and adult and neonatal intensive care unit guarantees the intervention and stabilization of any pathology of immediate life-threatening threat, all supported by the central diagnostic services that operate 24 hours a day

All our facilities undergo a constant process of renovation, so that the internal/external appearance and ergonomics of the building are optimal, as confirmed by the surveys and inspections carried out.

The hospital serves the entire population of the region, in coordination with health centers and specialties, and is part of the Jerez-Costa Noroeste Health District.

Advanced Quality Accreditation

All our centers have been analyzed by ACSA (Andalusian Health Quality Agency). As a result, all have obtained the Advanced Quality Accreditation for Centers and Sanitary Units.

Patient guide

This service is located at the main entrance, at the point called “information”. It is operational from 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. It is responsible for helping you with all your questions, administrative procedures and informing you of all issues related to the Hospital.

If you need any documentation from your clinical history, the owner of the history must appear in person at this point and request it in writing through a form that will be provided.

Admission to our Hospital is carried out in a scheduled manner in the Hospital Admission Unit, and urgently through the Emergency service. Both scheduled and urgent admission must always be indicated by a doctor.

You can be admitted to the following services of our center: Hospitalization, day hospital, Critical care unit and emergency observation.

Once you access the room, whether from the emergency room or from the admission unit, a nursing assistant or a nurse from the hospitalization block will receive you, and:

  • They will explain where the patient call button is located, as well as lights and air conditioning.
  • They will provide you with clothing if you need it (pajamas or nightgown) as well as clean towels, bedding and gel or soapy sponge.
  • You will be informed that visits in the mornings (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) are restricted to one person per patient (with the exception of cases such as extreme severity, etc.). The rest of the day the visit is free until 9 p.m. (in summer until 10 p.m.)
