The Hospital Virgen de la Bella is a hospital center that serves both public and private patients, designed to provide service to citizens and visitors of the Costa Occidental region of Huelva.
The hospital has been approved by the Ministry of Health since November 24, 2017 as a Specialty Hospital, Group IV (centers for the care of acute patients, in which assistance can be provided to patients requiring complex surgical treatment, and in which medical processes can also be attended to). The center serves the population of the western coast of Huelva, and the Infanta Elena Hospital is the reference center for the Virgen de la Bella Hospital.
Our emergency service has the technical and human capacity to attend to any life-threatening emergency, and the surgical and critical care unit guarantees the intervention and stabilization of any pathology of immediate life-threatening, all supported by the central diagnostic services that operate 24 hours a day.

The hospital is developed on 1 floor occupying 8,700 square meters on a plot of 23,500 square meters. Its design optimizes accessibility and efficiency in health care
Distribution and beds
4 Emergency consultations, 18 External Consultations, Rehabilitation Room, Gymnasium, Delivery Room, 4 Operating Rooms, Exploration Room, Functional Exploration Room.
All our facilities undergo a constant renovation process, so that the internal/external appearance and ergonomics of the building are optimal, as confirmed by the surveys and inspections carried out.




















Patient guide
This service is located at the main entrance, at the point called “information”. It is operational from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from Monday to Sunday. It is responsible for helping you with all your doubts, administrative procedures and informing you of all issues related to the Hospital.
If you need any documentation from your medical history, the owner of the history must appear at this point and request it in writing through a form that will be provided
Admission to our Hospital is carried out routinely in the Hospital Admission Unit, and urgently in the Emergency service.
Both routine and urgent admission must always be indicated by a doctor.
You can be admitted to the following services of our center: Hospitalization, surgical day hospital, Critical Care Unit and emergency observation.
Once you access the room, whether from the emergency room or from the admission unit, a nursing assistant or a nurse from the hospitalization block will receive you, and:
– Will explain where the patient call pulse is located and in the toilet, as well as lights and air conditioning.
– Will provide you with clothing (pajamas or nightgown) if you need it as well as clean towels, bedding and gel or soapy sponge.
– Will inform you that visits in the mornings (8:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m.) are restricted to one person per patient (with the exception of cases such as extreme severity, etc.). The rest of the day only two companions are allowed per room, please do not remain in the hallway, and keep silence out of respect for the rest of the patients and the staff who works at the Center. Visits to minors are not advised.
